Create your Twitch stream schedule – and never update it twice
A well-kept stream schedule is one of the easiest ways to turn random viewers into regulars. Here's what the Twitch schedule can do, what to watch out for – and how to keep it up to date automatically.
What is the Twitch stream schedule?
Every Twitch channel has a Schedule tab. It shows your viewers when you're going live next, which game or category is planned and what the stream title is. Someone who just discovered you knows right away when it's worth coming back.
Twitch has two kinds of entries:
- Recurring segments – e.g. "every Tuesday at 7 pm". Handy if you stream on a very fixed schedule.
- One-off segments – a specific day with its own time, game and title. Perfect if your week looks a little different every time.
Good to know: according to Twitch, only Affiliates and Partners can add one-off (non-recurring) segments through the API. If you're not an Affiliate yet, Discord, overlay and website still work in Pogplan – and Pogplan tells you when Twitch rejects an entry.
The real problem: your schedule lives everywhere
Hardly any streamer keeps their schedule only on Twitch. Usually it's also in Discord, on social media, on a website and sometimes as an overlay on stream. When a stream moves, you have to change it in four or five places – and somewhere the old time always survives. Viewers show up at the wrong time, or not at all.
That's exactly what Pogplan is for: you enter each stream once, and every place updates automatically.

Pogplan keeps your Twitch schedule, Discord, OBS and website up to date from a single entry. Start for free, set up in three minutes.
Start with Twitch – freeHow to manage your Twitch schedule with Pogplan
- Log in with Twitch. Pogplan only asks for permission to edit your stream schedule – no access to your stream key, chat or earnings.
- Existing entries are imported. If your Twitch schedule already has streams, Pogplan reads them when you log in, so nothing gets duplicated. Recurring series from Twitch are shown and stay managed in Twitch.
- Add your streams. Date, time, duration, game and title – you pick the game straight from Twitch's categories. Seconds later it's in your Twitch schedule.
- Edit or cancel. Move or cancel a stream and Pogplan updates Twitch too. Cancelled streams are marked as cancelled on Twitch instead of silently disappearing.
Syncing with Twitch is included in the Free plan.
5 tips for a schedule that brings viewers
- Fixed anchors: two or three fixed days a week are easier to remember than a schedule that changes all the time.
- Plan early: put next week in by the weekend before, so everyone can plan around it.
- Right category: choose the category you actually stream in – that's how people looking for exactly that find you.
- Descriptive titles: "Hardcore run day 12" is more intriguing than "Minecraft".
- Show cancellations: a stream marked "cancelled" beats one that quietly vanishes.
